No — you do not need to be home! We just need access to your yard. Our technician will send you a text before arrival and again once the service is complete, so you always know when we were there.

Our technician bags all waste and places it directly in your trash bin, leaving your yard completely clean and odor-free. No mess, no fuss — just a fresh yard.
What if it rains on my scheduled service day?
Light rain is no problem — our technicians will still come out and clean your yard as scheduled. In the event of heavy rain, Scooper Heroes will proactively reschedule your service for the next available day at no extra charge.
How often should I schedule pet waste removal?
We recommend weekly service for households with one or more dogs to keep your yard safe, odor-free, and healthy. Bi-weekly and monthly plans are also available depending on your yard size and number of pets.
Is there a setup or initial cleanup fee?
If your yard has not been regularly maintained, a one-time initial cleanup fee starting at $50 may apply for the first visit. This covers the extra time needed to restore your yard. After that, your regular plan rate applies.
